My husband and I are both from lovely Fort Kent, Maine. From our now home in southern Maine, we make the six hour journey to be with our families several times a year. So you can imagine that we have lots of time to talk of our future hopes and dreams.
Epic Image Salon is a product of these many trips. Ever since I was a little girl I knew I would be a stylist, but I wanted more. Stylist, owner and be able to provide an environment for people to come relax, be pampered and feel great. I had a vision of finding a perfect team to make this all come together. I believe it truly takes lots of great support to have the strength to push forward and make dreams into a reality. So on October 15th 2013 we took a strong leap and signed a lease on a great space right on route one in beautiful Yarmouth, Maine. We had only two months to get the salon up and running. Craziest two months of our lives. Thankfully my sister-in law, Tina Boucher spent countless hours helping us with the design, my stepfather Donald Michaud got the plumbing all set, and honestly, my husband Wesley was the anchor for it all. His hard work (after his regular day job), meant the world to me.
Our doors opened on January 6, 2014 and I could not wait to share our beautiful space with everyone. The first year was an absolute blessing. I have the BEST team I could have ever asked for. We are not only co-workers, we are a family.
Fast forward TEN years! My husband and i in 2024 purchased a business condo unit at 10 Forest Falls Drive in Yarmouth. We spent countless hours and roughly 8 months working on the build-out. We are at our forever home that now hosts 7 stylists on our top floor in a open floor space. We also have created a lovely spa like atmosphere in our downstairs space. Down there we host 4 professionals(3 stylists and an aesthetician/lash artist) in their own private suites. Please stop by and take a peek or stay a while and enjoy the atmosphere we created for all our guests to enjoy!!
